Album Info:
Florida East Coast Railway - FEC #153, Pacific type built in May, 1922, by the American Locomotive Company, Schenectady, New York. It was in service on the Florida East Coast Railway from 1922 until 1938 and it was the steam that pulled the “rescue train” out of Key West (Marathon) in the Florida Keys to Miami after the 1935 hurricane that swept this portion of the railroad out to sea.
