The KCS/UP main line towards downtown runs southwest to northeast where it crosses ( 20 (e.g. here). Late in the day, one needs to be on the other side of these tracks to have the sun in the right location for photographs. The train on the west track (the hoppers) was stoppped and blocked photographs from that side. Fortunately, the sun was "down" so there was still light but no shadows. I tried to catch the UP train as it came around the eastbound pig train, but I shot the photo just a little too fast.
