Album Info:

This bad graphic is on sanding directions and lines. When there is a hard line connecting to a curve, When sanding a curve or shaping bondo over a curve you always sand diagonally and roll your block over the curve. This keeps the shape of the curve and will prevent flat spots. And when you are sanding to a hard/sharp line you want to stop at that line. I like to draw a pencil line along the bondo/filler where it is placed on the edge so I know where to sand to and stop the stroke. You also want to go diagonally in both directions, again, this prevents flat spots and preserves the curve.
