this made its debut at Gaydon 2006, it was perched on the rock by the entrance before joining the showground and picking up several awards. It was restored by welding together the back and front of two existing Foden chassis!!

    • This vehicle does not belong to Dave PEARSON it belongs to John Pearson. I think there may be some confusion about this fodens restoration. It is a genuine Hoveringham Gravels vehicle, Not two two vehicles welded together. The chassis needed extensive repair work in places and the 'U' shaped aluminium body was made up of two bodies as they were both beyond repair. I was involved in the restoration along with John and Dilly and i can assure you this vehicle is 100% genuine. "CUMMON YOU ALL KNOW ITS THE BOLLOX" Regards Ashley

    • Regarding the scandal about dave pierson foden s21 hoveringham. I'm restoring a ex blue circle s21 foden and i've been monitoring with great intrest in the restortion of his foden and the work dave pierson put into keep that chasis original it is amazing. Also he has pictures of the restoration and filmed it, he is a highly devoted skillful restorer and can easliy mix among the best restorers this took a lot out of dave pierson and he did not weld 2 lorries together.
