A swarm of swallows in a whirling dervish over downtown Shreveport provides an unusual backdrop for this photograph of a KCS locomotive idling in downtown Shreveport. The bird flock moved west to east, providing a backdrop for a number of train photographs. The building in the background is a furniture warehouse. A narrow street runs of each side of the train. This photo, like others in this album, is in another one of my albums, the KCS album. However, I wanted to present it here because the non-rail aficionado is not going to plow throught 200+ KCS pictures to find this type of photograph.
