Album Info:
My childhood hero, Evel Knievel. Had the pleasure of riding with him from Murfreesboro, Tn. to Lynchburg, Tn. I regret the passing of such a legend! Evel passed away yesterday, Nov.30, 2007 Evel said that he was a Christian. He also said that he was preparing for his last jump. I guess he has made it.

khaled, thank you my friend for your nice comment. I veiwed your albums and you have many, many beautiful photos. I too regret the loss of a true motorcycle legend as Evel passed away yesterday. I was with his son in Glendale, Ca. just a couple of weeks ago and he said that his father was on oxygen 24 hrs. a day and wasn't doing well. I consider it a true pleasure to have been able to meet him and ride a little bit with him. He was a legend in his time! Thank you again, joe

This photo was made in Lynchburg, Tn. after riding from Murfreesboro, Tn. Evel can barely walk now and has to have assistance getting on and off the bike. He even had to have help putting down the kickstand. But, he's nowhere near putting it down for the last time. I think he'll ride till he dies! When on the bike, he rides like a twenty year old! I was a great pleasure to ride with him!
