The 3-wheeled Edith was the first attempt by Grey and Harper Ltd of Victoria to make an austerity vehicle for the post-WWII market. It was a commercial failure despite a later attempt to replace it with a 4-wheel version. Aussies didn’t want what some described as ‘a pregnant roller skate’!
