Album Info:
Following their success with the standard 48-215, GMH designed and a built a 'Coupe Utility' by 1950. They were never to build a station wagon - or 'Station Sedan' as they were known - on the 48-215 base, although they did produce a prototype. A few station sedans were also built by specialist body builders and it is believed that this may be one. Found in a creek running through a rubbish tip, and restored by the Hughes Brothers, this car is now part of the Holden Collection
