THE END of about 132 acual miles of fun (includes the side trips). We ran from mile post 3 to 121 of actual trail, 118 miles. This was just around the bend from the water crossing, less than a 1/8 of a mile. Here some of us stayed the night for more wheeling on Monday near here. The majority of us aired up our tires and said our good byes and headed to the freeway and home. The dirt graded road about 3.6 miles to the I-15 seemed like a freeway. We headed to Barstow about 35 miles away to the south west for a motel room. We left Barstow Monday morning about 9:30 after a good nights sleep for the trip back to Goodyear AZ thru Needles CA and Wichenburg AZ. Got home about 5 PM with no problems. To help me on my journey and for this write up I used the book "Mojave Road Guide - An Adventure Through Time" by Dennis G. Casebier. It is an excellent guide book to traveling this route.
