In ten minutes, this overpowered freight, with five large h.p. locomotives including the GE C41-8W in the lead, will be out of Shreveport heading towards Lufkin, Texas on the former Cotton Belt line. The line in the background is the UP spur that runs from the KCS yard near Depot St. southwest to the UP's Reasor Yard in west Shreveport.
