About the only time you can get any decent photo in the Texas Street Canyon is during the winter when the vegetation is down. There is one way to access the "canyon" to take pictures from underneath the Texas Avenue bridge, but it is one with some perils - both natural and from the occasional temporary inhabitants of the underpass.
