This picture shows my application of a non engineered product for sound proofing on the driver door. The shiny tape at the top of the door is aluminum adhesive duct tape. Notice that I have also covered over the cab vent hole on the bottom left of the door, first with the alum duct tape then non engineered sound proofing. My intent here is to minimize the venturi effect when the cab window is cracked open on gravel roads (creating a negative pressure in the cab) and sucking dust in throught the vent.
