Most of the trail goes through the center of the Preserve. This has casued some conflicts and powers that control the Preserve have some strange ideas of who serves who. And who they should be protecting the Preserve from.

NPS has ruined the East Mojave having removing cattle, burros, fencing, water tanks, corrals, etc.
