Jimmy Brantley talked to me at length about his brand new TF bike. He was getting a lot of help from Larry McBride, who built the motor. In round 2 he ran a 7.04 at 135 shutting off really early (he had a 4.04170 eighth mile). It was very windy and once the bikes got past the grandstands, they often had problems.
