Next we started working on the tank stretch. This invloved using posterboard to design a template that would fit the tank and allow us to blend the seat into the stretch. After much trial and error we came up with the pattern and cut it out of 16 guage sheet metal. Starting from the middle, we began using the MIG welder to tack spot the extension around the end of the tank. After the center tack, you go out about 1" on each side.
