USAF #2000 EMD SW8 - This survivor of the Koren and Viet Nam wars was brought back to the US and has been used since the early 1960's at the USAF Titan rocket complex in Cape Canaveral, Florida. One of three units on site. Note the extendable boom located at the base of the cab. When on the inner of the two sets of tracks, this boom swings out 90 degrees and attacthes to an adjacent loco for MU operation.
