Album Info:
The ATSF branch to Phoenix, known as the Peavine Line for it's many curves, is relatively unknown compared to other famous Santa Fe places such as Raton Pass, Cajon Pass, and Tehachapi. Regardless, this is a scenically interesting line, through rugged desert scenery, very suitable for operation. The reefer train has it's work cut out for it, as it ascends the grades north to Santa Fe's transcontinental main line.
