And here are some of the connectors that you'll get to mess with. The top red connector is for the gas tank fuel level sensor, which you'll need to disconnect first to get the gas tank out. (or just leave it and rip the wires out like I did once). The second red connector carries the three yellow wires that feed the 3-phase AC voltage to the rectifier/regulator, and will be removed during the upgrade. The bottom black connector is for the field wires to the alternator. This connector remains.
