The split gears have been aligned by twisting a dull tool between them, and the Lewis-Pin inserted into the hole to keep them aligned. The PVC tube will be removed and routed thru the oil drain plug hole and out the alt shaft assy recess in the eng. [photo from Bill Boyd]
