Tom traveled all the way to Oshkosh AirVenture 2002 and wound up seeing an old friend - 'Thunder Bird.' She's the B-17 from the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston, TX. This kind lady was on duty selling T-shirts, etc to help pay for the expenses of bringing the Big Fort up to the Oshkosh 'thing.'
