After the insert is in place tighten the three set screws in the plastic ring so that they are flush. Now its time to adjust the friction clamp on the plastic ring. Just above the thumb lever there is a acorn nut which takes a 5/16" socket or wrench. You want to adjust the nut so that the throttle can be turned easily and smoothly with the thumb lever in the up position but so that it will hold full throttle when it is in the down position. Just play around with it a bit until you find
