Use a 3/8" socket or wrench and install the bolt through the arm and thread it into the cruise clamp and snug it up. Snug the Allen screw that goes through the thumb lever but not to much you need to be able to flip the lever up and down freely. Now position the assembly to what is comfortable for you and tighten the two Allen screws in the cruise clamp.
