Kato #6 switch underside: when the slider is to the left, this 't-bar' mechanism does the power routing. Here you can also see the power feeds to the track; on the right of the gold colored plate, you can see the little triangular connections to the underside of the rail. These connections appear to be soldered. On the upper left of the gold plate, you can see similar connection to the other lef of the switch. The t-bar in this position is routing power to the straight leg of the switch.
