Hi, this motorcycle is a 1948 Wooler WLF1, which had a novel beam engine design of engine. Two of these machines were built, this one with the silver tank was the display/exhibition machine, whilst another with a black tank was the development bike. Neither of the two bikes are known to have survived. The 1954 Wooler was an altogether different machine.
Hi, this is a 1948 Wooler Light Four, which had a novel beam engine design, which never really worked, although in post war Britain it got an enourmous amount of publicity. Two of these bikes were built, none are known to have survived. The 1954 Wooler was a different design all together.
