This is a view of the large one-time S.P. shed where SP 4449 and SP&P 700 are housed. This was once just one of several sheds located in a 'roundhouse' array with a turntable in the center. Now, this single shed is all that's left...and the City of Portland wants to tear it down! I say 'what for?!' These locomotives are national treasures and deserve to have a place to live!
