This is the passenger side with the vertical plywood pieces installed over the 1x3 so no I have a smooth surface to work with. First craft paper was put over entire area for a vapor barrier and to seal in the fiberglass insulation and then luan plywood was secured to this with 10 or 12oz batting on top and then carpet to finish the wall.
