This closeup shows 2 of the 'warts' and the air intake, replete with the insert to keep birds, etc from setting up housekeeping in the intake system of the big Wright R-2600 14-cylinder radials. (Tom's note: maybe 'carburetor' is misspelled because it was spelled 'carburator' on the originals back in '44.)
