I was stationed at Walker Air Force Base from 1953-56. I was an engine and apg mechanic in the 6pms squadron. Would love to hear back from anyone that was stationed at the base during this time period. Contact Info: bhrice5@yahoo.com

Interesting numbers: each engine had four rows of 7 cylinders each, 2 spark plugs per cylinder, six engines. 28X2X6 = 336 spark plugs for a B-36.

those aren't jets .jet engines were added later on the outer ends of the wings
