  • Hi, This is a terrific album! I was just getting settled into your train photos (I am a train lover, especially old ones) when you added some tractors and other subjects that would quicken the heartbeat of lovers-of-things-ancient. Your photos of the wooden boxcar is superb. I guess when you think about it they may have all been wooden at one time. Also, I had to 'svipe' your lovely photo of the old model waiting by the gas pump. A classic!! As usual I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to your site. - DeeAnne :)

  • I knew it wouldn't be long before you added to this album. The only trouble is I can't decide where the new pics started so solved the problem by going right back to the start! You have that rare ability of making a wonderfully interesting album out of ordinary everyday subjects that we take for granted and rarely glance at twice. I bet not too many people (myself included) would be able to tell which are the old and which the new of these trains.Love and hugs, Peter

  • Thanks for the kind words on my railroad "Abandonments& quot; album. My wife and I try and get to the Shenandoahs to camp and hike once a year, and I love the railroad history there. Got to chase a few freights too. You've taken some great pix here. That crisp western light really shows off those BNSF colors. My wife's dad lives in Albuquerque--so I checked out your New Mex albums too. Fine work.

  • It's a McCormick Deering 10-20 or 15-30, can't be sure which. One was bigger than the other. Nice shot. alan

  • I like your tractor album. Always have. The newly added Farmall looks like it might be a Farmall H. It has what might have been cultivators mounted under it, without the blades. Oh, and "Reincarnation& quot; may never have been a tractor, but an engine produced by IH. Likely the same engine as one of their tractor models, with a different front grill and mounting brackets. It was probably mfg. for the type of use it was put to. Those are only good guesses and I cannot be responsible for minor errors. :-) Oh, and the date on your Farmall H photos needs to be 2004. :-) Alan
