Hi Mike! Thank you for visiting my albums! I just had to check these out. My favorites are the ones in the Lompoc album. Many of those cars bring back great personal memories. My folks owned a '55 Stude Golden Hawk, which we finally sold off in the 70's. I owned the Ford retractable as well as two 55 T-birds (how I wish I had thoe two nor!) My daughters"significan t other" is heavy into old cars and rod races. He is in New Mexico now at one of those meets. I need to give him a link to your albums, as I know he would love them! Your photos are a pleasure to see. Very nice albums! Barbara

Hi Mike, Nice pictures! You might want to change http://community.webshots.com/photo/88147278/88148355kmNpBp to a "1938 Ford". It's not a 1937. Keep up the good work. We were at the Shore Cliff in Pismo last month. Lots of work being done to keep the place from falling off the cliff! We sure do miss Santa Maria, The Hitching Post in Casmalia, and the central coast of California!

I'm helping a friend replace a heater core and heater valve on a '60 Ford (which is the same as the '60 Edsel). Do you have any procedural advise? Thanks.

edsel: Now that i look closer I can see that in 54 the ford did not have those distinctive fins. I stand corrected. Still a nice car though Hank

I found my way to your pics from the Station wagon group, but then I was delighted to see the pics of the Morro Bay powerplant... last time we went there I kept telling my wife I wanted to climb those towers... Do you work there? Are they hiring? ;) I live in the California desert and get to Morro Bay as often as I can and would love to live there....

Nice pics! I also collect 1:18 diecast cars. I have a few Edsels and Fords. My favorite is the 58 Edsel black hardtop.

Ah, the Sunbeam Talbot 90, circa 1952. A Great sports saloon and forerunner to the successful and better known Alpine. Before Chrysler bought and ruined the Rootes Group... They also made a nice convertible (DHC- Drop head coupe) with it's three position top.
