  • Thanks for the picture of B-52A #003. This was the sister ship to B-52B #008. They both carried the X-15 rocket powered aircraft back in the 1960's. I worked and flew on #008 from 1991-2004. #008 was retired in December 2004 at Edwards AFB California. -Jeff Doughty - Aircraft Crew Chief, TF-18A NASA 845
