  • Hello tomlou, I have thoroughly enjoyed this album of yours. Many of the planes in your album are new to me. My album includes some of the same planes as yours, but it also includes some planes that you perhaps have not seen. They were on display at several different Thunder Over Michigan Air Shows at the Yankee Air Museum. At one of the shows, there were nine of the fully restored and flying B-17s. At another of the shows there were seventeen B-25 Mittchel Bombers. I also have photographs in my album from the Smithsonian's Air Space Museum(s)in Washington D.C.I invite you to stop by. • hello, my father was a b-17 pilot and years ago he had given me a book with pictures of noseart on the b-17's. i cannot seem to find it, nor locate it on the internet anywhere. if i remember correctly, it was about 8" x 8" and was a hard-soft bound cover and all the pages were beautifully photographed in color. maybe 60 pages? any idea? i would love to add this to my library since it's been awhile since i've had it. any help you can give me would be appreciated. thanks

  • hi tomlou, my father was shot down in a B-17, survived, but since has died. I would like to get his planes nose art as a tattoo, is there any way to get this info?
