I once "crewed" the P or F-51 with the serial number 473704, It was transferred to the Texas National Guard from the US Army Air Force I believe in 1946, the 111th Fighter Squadron at Ellington Field Texas. Col. Bill Nottingaham C.O. I was surprised and overjoyed at seeing the Ole gal again. It brought back many memories.
