Hey, Dave. It's a yes and no answer. Members of a particular club or track site normally maintain their equipment at the home site. During special events, such as the Florida Live Steamers winter meet, several members haul their equip to other tracks to run. It's a way to showcase their engines and cars, latest acquisitions, and meet up with old friends and welcome new enthusiasts to the hobby. Others travel out-of-state to run on various tracks throughout the year.

Do you haul these units around or do they stay at the yards?

Yepper, large scale model railroading is just that - the world in miniature. Thanks for all your comments, Pard.

Great, Pard! I saw a few new ones to me, and a lot that are becoming familiar. It amazes me how many look so much like the real thing, just in miniature. What a dedicated lot of people involved in this hobby!
