  • The ride is approximately a three hour trip.
  • It follows the raging Arkansas River in the gorge.
  • The ride is a 26 mile trip along side the Arkansas River.
  • When traveling you can stand outside on the observation car.
  • The Royal Gorge Bridge suspends more than 1,000 feet above the gorge.

  • At times the train and the river were almost as one.

  • Some of the scenery was just beyond description.
  • Would I go again.....the answer would be YES.
  • We even saw boaters on this fast moving river.
  • This basket of some sort must have taken things across the river.
  • Almost every turn the train took, a scene like this would pop up.
  • The train was very long.

  • This is one of those areas that you hold your breath for.
  • It looks like the train is going right into the river but there is room for both.
