Album Description:
Once again I visited this annual car event that showcased restored cars of various brands, models & year makes. For this album, I chose a few gems: the oldies but the goodies - all in mint condition! Just like wine, they all aged so beautifully!

I too, love older cars---My first was a 50 Chevrolet and I have always been partial to General Motor cars and trucks !--I now drive a 1991 Chevy S-10 pickup and a Geo Metro to save gasoline. If You feel comfortable in sending an updated photo or even Family photos, I would love to see them. My friends and I love viewing your country on the net and being able to see the author/photographer is a bonus---May You have a great day and looking forward to more of the great shots You present----THE HERMIT in WNC

Very interesting!!! My father purchased a "51" Buick for our family - way back when! He always kept his cars as clean as possible, despite the fact that it was used on some family camping trips, a roof rack with a four-person tent on top, and a canvass bag canteen mounted on the front, its' manilla rope handle looped over the hood ornament. And I owned a 55 Chev.! So your scenes here hit home! All the other shots = an added bonus! Thanks! Gary in Seattle

Thanks for the ride back to yester years. The Volks beatle reminds me of my U.P. days when this car was really popular. The 55 Chevy and the 67 Ford Mustang are the prelude models to the muscle cars of the 60's. We used to mark quarter mile tracks in Miramar to test who is fastest off the line. Regards, Ding
