Ed and Helen, A nifty train ride. Have often thought about taking a ride such as yours, but as of yet, haven't made the trip. Took a Portland to Denver trip once in 1960 to the Boy Scout Jamboree in Colorado Springs, but that was a hundred years ago and I don't remember much of it, although what I do remember about it, it was HOT from Arizona to Colorado. Wow, you guys just keep taking me on great train rides. A lovely album of memorable sights, and all from the comfort of a vista car. Twenty years ago I'd have chanced the outdoors ride, and you might have as well. I'm glad you did it in style, and thanks for sharing the experience.

Another GREAT adventure. I have been there several times, but never taken the train ride. This will be on my "to do list". Finally have DSL so I can watch the slideshow. Thanks again!!!
