I bought a new 2007 fifth-wheel with Hi-Run tires on it and have had one to seperate and two to blow out on the hiway. I just bought four new Maxxis E grade tires; upgrading from D grade. Hi-Run should be held accountable for this. SORRY TIRES.

I also had two tires blowout in one day and they only had 7700 miles on them. A claim has been filed with the NHSTA. The inspectors said he blowout was caused by impact. I don't know how they know I supposely hit something when they wern't with me. TwoForTheRoad

We have the exact same tires on our horse trailer and had a blow out also. A tire dealer said that these tires should be recalled as well, along with all the other tires that were recalled from China. It is not bad luck. Email me at kandrews@jvchc.com. We had Carlisle Tires(the company that bought the tires from China on wholesale and placed the cheap things on our new trailer) inspect them but of course they said there was not a defect. We replaced all of ours because we did not want to have a wreck or more blowouts!!! I reported this to the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 and to Better Business Bureau. The more people that report it the faster we will get a recall. Any other ideas?

What's your story with the HI-Runs? We've blown a few in a few days and wondering if it's more than just bad luck... Email us at annab@cleanvibes.com
