G'Day Barry Thanks for your entry in my Guest Book. QR National have started running coal trains in the Hunter Valley in opposition to PN. The 5000's are 4000hp with AC traction and are fitted with Electro-Pneumatic braking which is new to NSW. I work for Interail which is a wholly owned subsidary company of QR National. I'm a level 2 which is a 2nd person. The new 5000's are great to work on. If you wan't to see a few more shots of them you can have a look at my Fotopic sites at http://Brians-Pics.Fotopic.net and also http://Brians-Railwaypics.Fotopic.net . I spent a lot of time at Broadmeadow Loco before it closed in 1995 and have taken many photos around the two turntables. the crews at Broadmeadow were always friendly. Will be up in Cairns later this year and hope to get some shots of the New PNQ locos Cheers Brian Atkins
