Thanks for the fine shots of my favorite plane - The One and Only F14 Tomcat I Love that Plane - Very Sad to see it leave service. I think it is a Big Mistake to let it go. The B52 is still active! The Tomcat is our fastest Interseptor the only one with the Huhges Phoenix missile that has a range of 125 Miles The Hornet won't fill it shoes Thanks again for the great shots God Bless America

Congratulations and thank you for sharing these great photos. I was stationed at NAS Oceana in the fall of '52 with VF 921 which was redesignated VF 84 in January '53. We flew F4U4's in 921 and transitioned to F8F2s then F9F5s in December '52. The base was still under construction then. Ray
