  • Well I just caught a glimpse of this album while logging on to your last album. I had to come back for a second look. Great photography and interesting enough to keep my attention. I wonder if the pink airplane was for female pilots, ha. Keep up the good work, we really enjoyed viewing all the different planes. I don't have a favorite, Don loved the photos of the Indian Motorcycle, he would take it right now, see what you can do, okay? LOL Love, Mama Loyce

  • Hi Mike. First up, congratulations on the POTD and your excellent work with Photoshop. I see you have CS as one of your favourites and that guy has such a wonderful imagination, plus great abilities with PS. I have enjoyed this album of yours, having been brought up with several of these aircraft, especially the Tiger Moth and Spitfire. I was very happy to see the Spitfire in it's different markings but why no Hurricane? I may be mistaken, but in #63 there is what looks to be a Hurricane half hidden behind the Spitfire. We had the programme series Spitfire on our TV recently where 4 young guys were given the opportunity to fly one. Now we have BOMBER and again a group of young people are being trained to follow in the footsteps of their grandfathers who flew in Lancasters. All very good and stirring stuff!. An enjoyable album. Best wishes, Peter in Western Australia

  • Mike, thanks for visiting our Flight 93 album. It still raises the hair on the back of my neck when I see the pictures, remebering what happened there and what it was like to be there. The "presence&qu ot; of the heroes is palpable. You have quite a collection of abums. I especially enjoyed the planes. I used to be a flight instructor. The Alamo was interesting to me as well, having read A LINE IN THE SAND within the last year.

  • Mike, This is a great album. My husband, Clarence wil love it!!!!!! He flies his own antique Piper Cub, 1940 vintage. It's painted bright yellow, and he loves to fly. I took two different sets of photos from the plane, and you really get a different perspective. Thanks for your very nice comments in my Mantorville album. I will add you to my list of favorites. Sharon
