  • Thanks for the publicity, but this IS NOT MY truck. A friend of mine helped build it. It is Dale Ison's truck. It is definately a work of art.

  • They winch the truck into the trailer with one person in the drivers seat. There is a side door in the trailer that they open so they can open the door on the truck. Its a tight fit. There is only a few inches on each side between the tires and the trailer.

  • What size or kind of engine is in the lifted truck?

  • The lifted Heros truck body is a Chevy/GMC 1500. The cab and bed were bought from a junk yard. The front end is from a Cadillac Escalade. Just about everything else is pretty much custom made.

  • My daughter saw this truck at St Louis WOW this weekend. She found our friend Mike depicted on your truck, on the left rear behind the tire. He is a fireman in NYC whose photo was captured after the 9/11 tragedy and has circulated in magazines and many other forms. It was moving to see that he was added to your truck also. It brought back many feelings from the WTC disaster. What a work of art-Thank you.

  • This truck is truly amazing ... but I'm very disappointed to see it lacking one little detail. Now I'm not trying to criticize, but you've left out a hero that helps this country EVERY DAY. The U.S. Coast Guard.

  • Hello Dale I don't know if you got my other message or not, but I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your semi. You have one of the coolest paint jobs I've ever seen on any truck, semi, pickup etc... Let me know if you have any other pictures of the dragon semi that you haven't already put on Webshots. You can contact me at... jodiandhondo@aol.com Thanks for sharing the pics (I plan to use one of them as my wallpaper). Hondo Murray Omaha, NE

  • PS: Oh and by the way... I also enjoyed the pick up truck too. It was inspirational and very impressive too. I'm just a little more partial to semi's. I am an artist and I would love to find out who the artist was who did the paint job and how long it took them to do it. Please be sure to pass this and my previous message on to the artist and owner of the semi. I'd love to hear back from them if they would like to e-mail me... jodiandhondo@aol.com Thanks again. • I just wanted to say that when I saw the pictures of the Heros Truck, it brought tears to my eyes, I lost my brother-in-law this past April, He was a Corporal in the Army, he did a year in Iraq. He stood for everything that this truck represents. He wanted to do his part to make this world a better place for his nieces and nephews. He was corragous, and very honorable. He was a great guy, a great friend, an awsome brother-in-law. I just want to say thank you for all of the time and effort and the beauty and the care that you have put into this truck. I salute you in the name of my brother-in-law, Corporal Christopher Martin Ferguson of the United States Army, may he rest in peace.
