Fun to find another owner of one of these. Mine once drove from Orlando, Fl. first over to Cocca Beach to pick up passenger, then north, ending trip in Iowa City, Iowa. This entire trip took only one fill between these end points. Air Conditioning on the entire way, cruise set at 62 mph, which my mpg test plots indicated to be the best trade-off speed. 40 mpg for the whole trip with AC on! This was with technology available back then. Why so many inferior machines between then and now? John Love_Learn@yahoo.com
