  • Howdy, Nice truck, but only three photos??? Any way the truck would not be as rare as you mite think, GMC would have built the 4-wheel drive panel truck, which are few in number, but the hearse conversion would have been done AFTER the truck left the factory at the request of the buyer. It may have been done one of two ways, first, GMC would have shipped it to the hearse conversion company, they would do their thing to it and then ship it to the dealer OR the dealer sent it out for conversion after he received it. Either way it's not a factory conversion, GMC did not do that type of work, they just built trucks, any special body configurations were done after the truck left the factory by custom coach builders. Custom was a GMC Truck trim level, it included Chrome Bumpers, grill, emblems, and windshield trim. There should also be little "Custom&quot ; scripts just behind the doors, but I don't see them in the pic, just a rust spot. Most of this info is covered on this page of the website; http://www.6066gmctrucks.org/GMCID1.htm Michael "Jolly" Goodfellow 6066 GMC Trucks www.6066gmctrucks.org Get A Real Truck, Get A GMC
