Hello! Carl Sears was my Grandfather and Riley Sears was my great-uncle. My father was Carl's son, Carl Joseph Sears. I remember going to an abandoned rail yard with them when I was very young(in the early 1970's) to look at an old steam engine. I don't know what became of it, but it was the biggest machine that I had ever seen. I remember it still sitting on the rails in the yard, where one day it had finished it's work. The weeds and vines were working hard to get to it. I'm not sure, but I think that Pa Paw Sears went there to work on restoring it. Any ideas of what and where this could have been? Let me know! And I appreciate the photos of Pa Paw-I don't have any of him from this era! My dad worked for the B&O, which later was absorbed by Chessie and later CSX. Thanks again! I really enjoyed looking at your train pictures, especially the RR Logos. Thanks
